interschool debate

in about 2 weeks...the interschool debate is gonna start.....all i knw is that im in the team as a reserve...suks huh....but kinda cool.....but i dunno weather my dad will let me go for it..im pretty mixed up here...... i really wanna go for the debate but why the hell did they make it during exams....haiz.....someone...help me!!!!!!!!!!eek

DEBATE....frens......Tunku's

well this debate has made me have lots of frens......since the debate i have known the tunku's better and better..besides the marians and thomians......well....tunku's.....they're very nice people...lots of people tell me that...well tunku is a school for spoilt brats.....but thats so wrong....tunku's.....they're very very friendly people....for those four days,i got closer and closer to themmm....the first two frens i made during the debate was andy and malcom....well andy.....hmm...i mean Andy....he's a nice guy...super friendly and sociable....and i almost forgot...he is also very funny......then...he introduced me to malcom.....hmmm...malcom....he's a nice,jovial and playful person.....he's cool....and he loves firearms...dunno why though....hahahahaha....then i started to know sharifah....well shes friendly and nice and also likes to share her candy and happiness with everyone....hahahaha....hmmm whose next...eain...well she's a nice person who likes to smile...heheheh....then came sharon....she's a nice and friendly person who smiles alot...hahahahaha...and likes' to host parties...heheheheh...then came liz and jennifer....super friendly and super nice.....at first i didnt know that they're korean till andy told me....so yeah....tunku's......i like them all....i'll never forget u guys...heheheh....oh yea...i'd like to say thx to eain for letting me use her pic...heheheh

DEBATE.....More than a club

welll....when i joined the debate clu,well i tought it was just an ordianry club where u meet frens at school and debate at school...but after 1 year with it,i found out that debate is more than a club...well why do i say so???i just came back from a party at aldrin's...do u have it in other clubs??well i say no....cuz we dun organize those type of party in tennis club..so yeah....this club also tought me to socialize not only with guys...but girls also....hahahaha...because at first i had a barrier of shyness between me and girls....but hey...now i have alot of 'girl friends'(sam,felicia,alex,teresa)to name a few...hehehehe...so yeah...i love and totally love this club......and im sad tho cuz my close fren/coach is leaving the club and goin to kl to study.....cedric...if u read this....im gonna miss u man...especially ur sarcasm and judo skills....so yeah...well the debate club made us bond even closer not only with the marian's but also other school....but my closest frens besides the marian and thomian's are the tunku's....they're very nice people....without the debate club,i wont even know who r they....and this debate also made me very comfortable with speaking in front of people...but now...welll i could present anything in front of people.....so yeah....well...that's why i think of the debate club,well,more than a club but as a teacher to me.....teach me to be more sociable,comfortable to speak infront of people,and also to act comfortably infront of girls...hehehehh.....so yeah...but dun wory cuz i aint no pervert....hahahah...

flashback about the debate...(DEBATE)

ok let me see...debate....such an interesting word...well,debate is my passion..at first,i was asked to join the debate and i tought of it as a nerdy activity but my judgement was wrong....why do i say so???well,the story starts here...about 2 weeks ago,i represented my school for the 'Swinburne World Debating Championship'...i accepted the challenge and i went with 8 of my close frens....we were divided into 3 team....team A:kelvin,adam,joanne...team B:cornelius,ian(me),faris(my close fren)....and junior team C:jonathan,aldrin and joshua....so yeah...
1st DAY
on the day itself,i was so nervous that i was sweating the crap of myself....we were waiting as if we were on a death trial...heheheheh....dun worry im kidding bout that...anyways...where was i??oh yea...well,we were waiting under the school hall for the bus...but plans didnt turn out as expected...so we had to get the teacher to send us there via 3 cars..not the bus....so it was very cramped.....we were the 2nd team to reach swinburne..well,i tought that this will be a small competition but well,my judgement was wrong again..there were tons and tons of people..we registered and went into the auditorium....took our sit and listened to the chief adjudicator(CA) spoke fo a long long time...i nearly fell asleep...heheheh...anyways then we watched the example debate....it was freaking awesome.....especially the 3rd opp speaker,ashik....rebut and quoted from a bible verse even tho he's a muslim...hahaha..anyways.....so yeah...we had our practice debate with batu kawa and we won...wasnt ineresting tho...our first prelims was wif kolej abdillah c team....they were good but we were better...hahahah...kidding...anyways we won again....i went back and the day wasnt over yet...i still had to go for tution...

2nd DAY
i reached swinburne at about 8a.m.i was very exited as i can feel the sweet air of debating....not so long after that...we started our second prelim....when i saw our match up against lodge c,i nearly pee'd in my pants....i told my team that we have to be confident in ourselves and do the debate with all our hearts....but,we lost....but look at the bright sight...they didnt crunch us as if we were friend chicken...it was a minor victory for them....then.lunchbreak....our coach,cedric asked us to socialise with the teams from the other school...that is when i met new frens from tengku puta,lodge,green road and of course the marian's an so many orher school...from there,i developed my relationship with everyone else..even with ashik(my 'bro')....and during that day i aslo met andy(my 'bro' too)so yeah...we also did our 3rd prelim on that day....we were matched up against kuching town....this 1,we were very confient...this time,we were the opposition...so we had to do our motions outside....this is when i realised that we were not only the blurr 1.....the other teams i could see(lodge,tengku)were also very blurr...the girls from lodge even asked me for the definition of bloodsports...so i gave it to them...anyways,we went in the room and started debating...but sadly,we lost again....by minority....so yea..we went back downstairs dissapointed....we had tea break...i started mixing around with the tunku's and we started to know each other....but i couln't socialise for long because the 4th prelim was about to start...we were told our matchup's.....well,we were matched up against tunku putra team B...i realised that my close frens were in that team(andy,malcom,eain)..so yeah...well we started the ebate and suddenly eain had an asthma attack...the debate was called on hold....well,during that time,we started talking and disturbed teresa...hahahahah....thenwe found out that we had to do that debate the next day cuz it was getting late...so yeah...

3RD day
i went to swinburne very early...arrived at 6:30 A.M....so yeah we started our debate at 7...and this debate wasvery very funny..one of my funiest debate ever....so yeah...well, it was an automatic won for us cuz the tunkus had to use a swing member(swing team)...so yeah we went back to the auditorium and got our last prelim match up...we were against green road D team...well,we didnt know the result cuz it was a silent debate....so yeah...the we went down to the auditorium again and had our lunch then we got the results..well,we didnt make it to the quarters...but i decided to stay to watch te tunkus debate...so yeah...i saw them debate and guess what????they won kuching town...i also watched them debate against lodge team c....but i had a feeling that they would lose becacuse lodge was so good...and yeah they lost....but hey... for a first-timer,they did quite good...unlike us...so i went home at about 7p.m.

4TH and LAST day.
wow..the air was getting tense for the 4 teams that were in the finals....(gapor,st.joseph,st.teresa,lodge)so yeah... they debated and after that,we had lunch....a very special lunch...and head back to the auditorium for the results..welll...here it goes....gapor won the senior and st.teresa won in the junior category...so yeah..suddenly the auditorium was ful of sadness cuz everyone was leaving their friends...so yeah we wentback with satisfaction and also sadness...but not so long after that,i met my frens from tunku,greenroad and chms.1 again at sharon's party..so yeah..

well,this debate tought me many stuff...well on of them is debate is no for nerds cuz well,theres alot of hot girls there...hahahah...kidding..well,debate also tought me to conquer my fears not only talking to the crowd but also socialising with the opposite sex...so yeah...and this debate also made me close to people frm other schools especially people from tunku putra...(andy,malcom,sharon,jennifer,liz,eain,sharifah)and also tunku's not from the debate(arsyad)..so yeah...and obviously to my frens from my school(faris,adam,kelvin,macha)heheh

the debate after party.....

wow after the WSDC(swinburne debate)......all of us were tired and exhausted after 4 whole days of torture...ouch.welll,we decided to go to starbucks at spring...it was fun but i did not bring any cash....thanks to alex,she gave me her iced latte..hahahaha...we had fun..telling jokes and sharing our perspective of the debate really calmed us down after the 4 days of fun yet tiring experience....at first, the marian,some of the tengku putra students(malcom,andy)and the thomian's went to spring...i tought we were the only one there but i was wrong...when andy and i were on the way back to starbucks from G2000,well we met the josephians....and they decided to join us...then,not so long later,the greenians(green road)also joined us for a cuppa coffee..during our 'after party' at starbucks,the chairs and tables were not in order as if a typhoon just hit starbucks....our laughter's could be heard loudly,i could see sam and her baby camera...hahahah..and also people playing with their rm5 notes....but then,1 by 1 started to leave...and then i also had to leave cuz i got tution...it was nice..so yeah....


SHARON'S HOUSE
on friday,i had no school so i was hanging out at starbucks....suddenly malcom text me and said that i was invited to sharon's party....wow...i was surprised but blurr at that time...so yeah....the next day i went to her house....it wasnt that hard to find her house..anyways....my mouth was wide open as i entered the gate and i could see greens as is im in a forest of heaven...i entered the house and greeted the master of the house(sharon)...so yeah...i was with malcom,andy and faris....oh yea jennifer and liz was also there....soon after that more people started to arrive....first came eugene,then leonard,then rebecca....then came the greenians,then the funny 3rd speaker from chms 1..even ashik(my bro) was there...he skipped his taekwondo class for the party cuz it was awesome......then sharon,liz and jennifer performed for us...they sang and trust me it was good....i ould see my goosebumps.....they also danced brittney spears song 'circus'....after the performance,we started talking...and i teached jennifer how to play 'more than words' on the guitar.....and some more talking....at around 9pm...people started to leave...so did my close frens andy,malcom and faris.....i was the last guy to go home.....well...it was a nice party..not too rowdy and alot of socialising....so yeah....i'd like to thank sharon for inviting me to her party...and also to her frens liz and jennifer for performing for us....and also i enjoyed the food...mmmmmmm...heheheheh

GoldCoast....fun?????

i just came back from goldcoast like 3 weeks ago....it was a nice experience despite the fact that i almost got into a fight with a drunk aussie....wow......wht a nice first impression of goldcoast.....full of drunk students.....but it was a really nice experience.....welll...my first experience in gold coast is goin to a shop full of sex items in it....it was very very very weird......but a fairly nice experience...you dont get anything like that in malaysia....wowow...no wonder my eyes were wide open.......



my second experience was being at goldcoast famous DREAMWORLD..that was a blast.....seeing all the rides were giving me goosebumps....when i first entered the themepark, i tought it was ok...not too bad tho...but once i went and explore the whole place,its damn big.....bigger than sunway and genting.....it was a blast......and the thing that amused me was that this park is joined to whitewaterworld......but u'll have to pay an extra 10 dollars...but what he hell...just pay 10 dollars and you will get to see th whole place....some of the rides were for 'kids' and the rest..well lets say u need more than 2 balls to ride it....so yeah...and i got my pics taken with jimmy neutron and spongebob with patrick..so it was a hell of a ride....oh yea..and also..FLOWRIDER...you must try that 1..ok let me explain...flowrider...its an artificial surfing experience....by using a surf machine...well you can experience how surfing is like...it was damn fun despite the fact that me and my bro cant even laugh for the next 2 days cuz of muscle ache...hahahahahah...and the cool thing is that u only have to pay 5 aussie dollars for half an hour of muscle aching fun..hahaha..the people watchin me surf nearly had a free show cuz i nearly poped my pants off....thanks to the rough-flowing water....


ok...let me think of my third experience...okay...well...my third experince is the wildlife in australia....well,let me put it this way...its very natural...i can still remember the fresh air,the ambience of the nature park(green) and ofcourse.the animals...cute CUTE animals..well...its not like the wildlife that i've been to in other parts of the world....the currumbin wildlife centre is th most interesting wildlife centre i've been to....although it's plain but hey..atleast there were no barriers between me and the kangaroo..luckily it didnt kick my reproductive orgAN...ahem...nevermind....well it was kinda cool...but 1 thing that shook my mind was that there are many many malaysians there...especially the zooo....you coud hear people speaking bahasa melayu everywhere....wow......i wonder why???maybe because of air asia X....'now everyone can fly'...or isit the malaysia airlines MATA fair....


Anyways....after 9 days full of fun and muscle ache and staring at hot girls,we finally had to go back to our hometown...the plane from brisbane left at 11:45p.m.....ouch.....and we reached kl at 5 am....double ouch.....and then we took another plane bak to kuching...welll...i rate goldcoast an 8 out of 10.....why???well cuz it was fun but also a bit too rowdy on weekends...like i said...i nearly got into a fight with a drunk ausie......so yeah,that was my holiday to goldcoast

what holiday........blah!!!!!!!!!!

wow....what a day uh????labour day......its a holiday but im stranded at home.......oh yea....thats y i stared bloggin.....cuz im BORED......anwar.....y cant go out????ahhh nvm....anyways....this is the most bogus holiday ever.....and i mea ever...hahahahaha....man its already may but i still cannot forgert bout the WSDC..(debate)..haahaha..faris...remember to mention my name in ur blog bro....
